JJ’s Legacy’s has partnered with Kern County dialysis centers to identify and assist individuals receiving dialysis who are also in the screening process for a kidney donation, or who are currently on the organ transplant list. Our Medical Transportation Gas Card Program defrays the cost of multiple out-of-town medical visits required for those in need of placement on the organ transplant list, are on the waiting list, or are post-transplant. Our financial medical grants help cover the costs of insurance premiums, doctor’s visits, prescription medicine, lab work and temporary housing during recovery.
