2022 Rose Parade Float
Elizabeth Lyn Hartman
JJ’s Legacy is proud to Honor Elizabeth Lyn Hartman
in the 2022 Rose Parade with a Floragraph.
Donated: Organs or Tissue
Elizabeth (Liz) spent her life serving others. Whether she was working as a chef, caring for her family and friends, or helping those in need around her, she was always serving.
Elizabeth (Liz) Hartman was the kind of person everyone wants to have in their life. She was kind, selfless, loving – always reaching out to help those in need. She was actively involved in helping and supporting family members, friends, and volunteering at her church.
Liz loved God deeply and was not afraid to share His love with everyone around her. Liz always saw the best in every person she came in contact with and was loved by her family and friends. With every breath she told people how valuable they were, how much she loved them, and she made sure they knew how important they were. Her eyes twinkled when she smiled and she had the most infectious laugh in the room.
Liz was the most encouraging person and was always the first to offer help and lift someone up who was feeling down. She carried such strength in her tiny body–enough to carry everyone around her. When she hugged you, you really knew, she loved you. She is missed every moment, of every day.
Her final act of giving was with her donation of life, to those in need of organs or tissues. What a fitting tribute to someone who spent her life helping others. We miss her more than words can express.
“Love one another. As I (Jesus) have loved you. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.” – John 13:34-35
