A rose is a symbol of love, loss and renewal. It represents something different to everyone; to some it is a symbol of hope, or an expression of grief, and to others it is a gift of gratitude.

JJ’s Legacy proudly participates in the Rose Dedication Garden. It is an opportunity to honor donors, families, recipients and candidates waiting for transplant with a personalized rose placed on the Donate Life Rose Parade® Float.

Families from across the country have expressed how meaningful it is to know their loved one is honored on the Donate Life float. Local donor mother Trina Rothermel said, “For my family, having a rose on the Donate Life float with our special message is an honor. We know that Jaidyn is part of something so special and we remember and honor the gift that she gave.”

Each dedicated rose is placed in a vial that carries a unique, personal message of love, hope and remembrance, and honors donors, recipients and others touched by organ, eye and tissue donation.
